Official Parliamentary Petition for Proportional Representation

We need your help to get Proportional Representation tabled for debate in the House of Commons. To make this happen, please sign our new, official Parliamentary petition.

Why start a new petition? As it is hosted by the Government's official petition website, it will be debated by MPs if it receives over 100,000 signatures. With PR now enjoying genuinely cross-party support, the time is right for this debate to take place.

We have six months to find 100,000 signatories - so please sign and share!

Make Votes Matter in General Elections

Owen Winter's original petition for Proportional Representation - out of which Make Votes Matter formed. This petition has gathered over 240,000 signatures since May 2015 - and was handed in to 10 Downing Street by a cross-party delegation of leaders and MPs. Change.org have re-opened it to new signatories following the EU Referendum and a renewed demand for real democracy - add your voice!

Following the EU Referendum, call a General Election using Proportional Representation

The 2015 General Election manifestos did not include plans for a Britain out of Europe, so the people have endorsed no particular ‘exit plan’. For the fundamental decisions that will be made in the next two years to be legitimate, we need an election. This election should use PR. This petition has over 15,650 signatures.
