Join Make Votes Matter, the Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform and a fantastic line-up of speakers for our fringe event at the Labour Party conference. No conference pass is required to attend - all are welcome. Chaired by Stephen Kinnock MP, the event will hear from:

  • John McDonnell MP

  • Faiza Shaheen (CLASS)

  • Emma Dent Coad MP

  • Laura Parker (Momentum)

  • Eddie Izzard

  • Mark Serwotka (PCS)

This will be the conference launch of our new report: Peterloo 200: the path to Proportional Representation. We will hear an overview of the report’s findings from Make Votes Matter’s Joe Sousek, hear speeches from the panel, discuss how to win the debate about PR in the Labour Party. We will then have some informal drinks in a reception hosted by chair of the Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform, Paul Blomfield MP.

St Nicholas Church is a short walk from the Brighton Centre in the direction of the station. See the map below, or the leaflet above for directions.
