The Cambridge Commons: Mayoral election hustings on inequality

  • Friends Meeting House, 12 Jesus Lane, Cambridge, CB5 8BA (map)

The Cambridge Commons are hosting the Mayoral Hustings focused on inequality in what has been called the most unequal city in the UK: Cambridge.

As a key driver of inequality at all levels of society, First Past the Post and winner-takes-all politics must end if we are to move toward a more equal society. Cambridge Electoral Reform Group invites you to attend this event in order to raise or support a call for the mayoral candidates to commit to firm and vocal support for electoral reform.

The evening will also be a great opportunity to discuss the full range of political issues facing Cambridge and the would-be mayors of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
