Progressive Alliance and Electoral Reform

  • Richmond Unitarian Church, Ormond Road, London, TW10 6T

Make Votes Matter South West London are working in collaboration with West London Compass to organise this event focusing on the campaign for Proportional Representation and the role a Progressive Alliance might play within this.

Klina Jordan - facilitator for Make Votes Matter - will be there making the case that democracy must come first; that progressive and non-progressive parties alike must cooperate on the single issue of electoral reform if we are to succeed in getting a properly functioning democratic system.

Other speakers include Jonathan Bartley (Co-leader of the Green Party), Vince Cable (ex-MP for Twickenham), Frances Foley (Compass) and Peter Macfadyen (Independent).

The event will be a mixture of talks and group discussions.
