Make Votes Matter's Letter to Jeremy Corbyn

Make Votes Matter have sent an open letter to Jeremy Corbyn signed by over 10,000 supporters of Proportional Representation. Among the signatories are more than 2,000 Labour Party members, including seven Labour MPs: Ben Bradshaw, Paul Blomfield, Stephen Kinnock, Clive Lewis, Jonathan Reynolds, Chuka Umunna and Daniel Zeichner; and other public figures like Peter Tatchell and Jonathon Porritt.

During the Labour leadership election and since he became leader, Jeremy Corbyn has emphasised the need for members and supporters to have a greater democratic say in the decisions of his party. Many of us are optimistic that he will respond more constructively than the government has managed to so far, and we eagerly await his response.
